To provide an insight into the causes and impacts of Violence Against Women and Girls as understood in current literature and service provision. To identify the needs of women and girls in West Yorkshire to support the development and introduction of intelligence led, evidence based sustainable intervention and provision. To provide an overview of current knowledge whilst identifying knowledge gaps in knowledge and recommendations to prompt engagement and localised research.
